James grew up in the soccer crazy city of Liverpool in England, and has been playing the game since he could walk. He grew up playing for various clubs in the Liverpool area before studying at Liverpool University where he achieved a BSc Combined honors degree in Sports Science with an emphasis on Teaching and Coaching methodology.
Whilst at Liverpool University James played for the men's soccer team and was part of the university squad which won the BUSC national championship in 2000.
Whilst at University James coached youth players for Wigan Athletic FC of the English Premier League and visited the USA during summers to coach teams in America. He has coached in over 20 different States from East to West coast and has a wealth of experience working with players of all ages and abilities.

Returning coach
Jake is from a small village in County Durham and has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Development from New College Durham graduating student of the year.
Jake represented various teams in local leagues- Gainford Cross Keys in Division 1 after winning promotion from Division 2 the season before finishing runners up. Wearhead United in Division 2 where he was awarded a managers choice award. Jake also had a very successful collegiate career spending 6 years playing under Newcastle United Academy coaches, where he won back to back league cup trophies and finished runners up twice in the league. He was also awarded player of the season for 2016-17 season.
While at college Jake worked with Durham Women’s Football Club analyzing teams and coaching in the youth development stage. Whilst at Durham, Jake received mentorship from Vancouver Whitecaps Mainland Academy head coach Martin Herdman and various other UEFA A & B licensed coaches. He also worked in various local schools coaching recreational sports to mixed aged and ability groups. Jake spend last summer enjoying the soccer and sunshine with Vision Soccer Training. Over the winter, he returned to England and continued his professional development by working with a professional club, and coaching players one to one. He also shadowed Newcastle United Under 12s head coach and coached college teams under his guidance and mentorship. Jake attended the FA National Futsal Conference where he received Information, knowledge and guidance from some of the top national Futsal Coaches working today.

Coach Vicenç R.
From: Mataro, Spain

Most excited to: Growing and Sharing knowledge about Futsal in a new country.
Vicenç is from a little city near Barcelona and has been involve with soccer and futsal for most of his life.
After playing for his hometown team, CFS Ciutat Mataró, he started his career as a coach, leaving his player life behind.
Vicenç started coaching when he was 18. After working as a Futsal Monitor, he worked with different teams as a coach in Catalonia. His teams have won a Second Position in CEEB Barcelona Cup, and two times in U-12 First Division saving them from relegation with F.S. Cardedeu. Also, as an assistant coach, he was the Champion in First Catalan Tier and promoted to Honor Division.
Always wanting to grow, he is constantly studying so he can improve his knowledge and coaching level.

Coach Manuel Arroyo
From: Heredia, Costa Rica (“Pura vida!”)

Most excited to: Use a soccer ball to try to change the world.
Manuel is an enthusiastic and positive coach born in Costa Rica, who has been playing soccer
since he was a little kid.
He did his studies and graduated in Argentina to become a pro soccer coach. In addition, he did an internship in the club Argentinos Juniors.(The Diego Armando Maradona's first soccer club).
While working for the Real Madrid Foundation, he worked with players of different ages from U4 to U18, and he had the opportunity to visit the club facilities in Europe and learn their methodology. He also managed Club Herediano’s U13 team, one of the most important clubs in Costa Rica.
He continues to develop his coaching methodology by attending conferences, where he has learned from great soccer referents such as
Fabio Capello, Julen Lopetegui, Ronaldinho among others.
Before joining Futsal Factory, he worked in Southern California as head coach and camp director for
the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).

Our full-time coaching staff are supported by a group of exceptional part-time coaches. Our part-time coaches are high energy and outgoing individuals, that lead and assist coaching sessions at a variety of soccer programs throughout the year.
